Life is a journey. Like all journeys, sometimes the vistas open up, the view is awe-inspiring, and the way is clear. At other times, we can scarcely to see where to take the next step and we find ourselves alone and lost in the wilderness. At WitnessTree, Camille seeks to provide support in problem-solving, help in developing coping skills, increasing spiritual awareness, and finding sign-posts and soul-friendship along the way.
In a world that is often empty, hurtful, and confusing, it is a stop along the way, a place to find refreshment, centering, direction, and soul friendship. It provides a quiet and peaceful atmosphere; it provides refuge and safety from the storms of life; it provides services and events designed to provide direction and enrichment to the wandering soul in all of us that seeks peace with itself and relationship with the Holy. These functions of the Center are symbolized in the WitnessTree logo.
While the theology at WitnessTree is essentially Christian, its programs and services are open to everyone. WitnessTree welcomes seeking and questioning. Awareness of Spirit and relationship with the Holy are encouraged and nurtured in a variety of forms and expressions. Our God is an inclusive God, a generous and welcoming Spirit, and a Refuge where all who seek can find, in their own unique way, a relationship with God. The wisdom of other streams of spiritual thought, consistent with basic Christian tenets, is included and welcomed.
The Center provides a variety of events and services. Click on the names to find a more detailed description of each. Classes and events change regularly. If you wish to be notified of these changes, please subscribe to the mailing list.
